This Privacy Policy applies to FixPro: Cleaner & Dashboard ("FixPro", "the app", "we", "our", or "us"). It explains what information the app accesses, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information the App May Access
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the app may access:
- Device and system information: device model, Android version, RAM, storage totals, free space, and related diagnostic values used to display dashboard and system information.
- Files and media on your device: file names, file paths, file sizes, and media needed to identify junk files, large files, duplicate files, and WhatsApp media that you choose to review or remove.
- Installed applications data: app names, icons, install times, and related package information used for screens such as heavy apps and usage-oriented insights.
- Preference and engagement data stored locally: settings such as reminder preferences, onboarding state, cached scan summaries, widget values, invite codes, share counts, streaks, achievements, review prompt counts, health scores, and ad-related skip credits stored on your device using local app storage.
- Advertising data: limited data may be collected by advertising partners such as Google AdMob when ads are loaded or displayed, subject to those partners' own privacy practices.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to operate the app's features, including to:
- scan storage and present potential junk, duplicate, large, or WhatsApp-related files for your review;
- display device, memory, and storage information inside the dashboard;
- show installed apps and related management screens;
- store your local preferences, reminders, cached results, widget values, and in-app engagement progress;
- support optional sharing, invite-code, and in-app review flows that you choose to trigger;
- display ads and support app monetization; and
- open external links you choose, such as the Play Store or this privacy policy page.
3. Permissions We Request
FixPro may request or declare the following Android permissions to support app functionality:
- All files / storage access such as
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE,READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, andWRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGEto scan, review, and remove files you choose to manage. - Media access such as
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES,READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, andREAD_MEDIA_AUDIOto inspect photos, videos, audio, and related media for cleanup flows where applicable. - Package visibility via
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGESso the app can inspect installed applications for device-management features. - Internet access via
INTERNETto load ads and open online destinations you request. - Notifications on supported Android versions, such as
POST_NOTIFICATIONS, so the app can send optional cleaning reminders or device alerts.
You can deny certain permissions, but some features may not work correctly or may be limited.
4. Local Processing and Storage
Cleanup scans, duplicate detection, cached scan summaries, reminder settings, onboarding flags, widget values, engagement progress, invite codes, and certain app preferences are designed to be processed or stored locally on your device. Examples include reminder frequency settings, cached junk-size results, streak counters, achievement status, share counters, review-prompt history, widget text values, and reward or skip-credit counters.
5. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you to clean or optimize storage. The app may also show optional local alerts related to storage state, cleanup progress, streak reminders, or weekly reports. These reminders and alerts can be disabled from the app settings or your device settings, depending on your Android version.
6. Ads and Third-Party Services
FixPro uses third-party services that may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. These services may include:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads for banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, or app-open advertising.
- Google Play when you choose to rate the app, use Google Play in-app review, or visit its Play Store listing.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through the app.
7. Sharing and External Links
The app may let you share cleanup results using apps installed on your device, or open external pages such as the Play Store and our hosted privacy policy page. When you use those actions, the destination service or app may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you use invite or share features, the app may generate or store a local invite code and local share-count information on your device to support in-app sharing or milestone features.
8. Widgets
On supported Android devices, FixPro may offer a home-screen widget that displays limited app-generated values such as free storage, junk estimate, or streak text. These values are stored locally on your device and are not intended to be shared externally by us.
9. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not state that we sell your personal data. We do not use the app to intentionally share your personal files with third parties except when you choose to use device-level sharing features or when third-party SDKs such as advertising services process data as part of their service delivery.
10. Data Retention
Data stored locally by the app, such as preferences or cached results, generally remains on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or change the relevant setting. Third-party services may retain data under their own policies.
11. Children's Privacy
FixPro is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the concern.
12. Security
We aim to use reasonable measures to protect the app and data handled by it. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
